Ask anyone who's pulled up a chair at Elks Lodge #2750 on Raymond Reed Blvd and they'll mention the chicken fried steak first. It's made the old way, with gravy that actually tastes like someone's grandmother made it, and that alone keeps members coming back year after year. The lodge earns its 4.5-star reputation not through flash, but through the kind of honest hospitality that Deming residents recognize immediately.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been one of America's most enduring fraternal organizations since 1868, and Lodge #2750 carries that legacy into the high desert of southwestern New Mexico. Members here show up for each other, for local veterans, and for the broader Deming community in ways that go far beyond a shared meal or a night of bingo.

The lodge hosts regular events, including bingo nights, dinners, and social gatherings that give members and guests a real reason to leave the house. There's a back room with slot machines for those who enjoy a little recreational gaming, and the atmosphere throughout stays relaxed and genuinely friendly. This is a place where you'll recognize faces, learn names, and feel the difference between a community organization and a club.

What We Offer

Lodge #2750 offers a rotating schedule of community dinners that showcase home-style cooking at its most satisfying. The kitchen turns out classics like chicken fried steak with scratch-made gravy, and the food consistently punches above what you'd expect from a lodge hall.

Beyond the dining room, members enjoy bingo nights, social evenings, and access to the lodge's gaming room. The Elks also organize charitable programs supporting veterans, youth scholarships, and local causes throughout Luna County. Membership opens the door to all of it, plus reciprocal privileges at Elks Lodges across the country.

If you're curious about joining, the process is straightforward. Prospective members must be U.S. citizens who believe in God, sponsored by a current member, and approved by the lodge. Once in, you gain a full calendar of events, a built-in network of fellow members, and the satisfaction of belonging to an organization that actually does things for the people around it.

"Too many flies. Considering their equipment, they served great food. The chicken fried steak was made authentically. Awesome. The gravy was really good. When it comes around next year, I'll be happy to support them. I expect that when they get better equipment, the quality will also get better. I'm impressed and very happy with the way they treat their veterans."

"Went to go play bingo tonight like their sign said and we were very disappointed to discover that they aren't even open on Mondays. Food for thought either take down the sign or honor it... Just saying"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
